When you have instructions, assembling an item would be an easy task, right? Wrong. The word instructions alone could throw you of track, not to mention when given verbally. Think about it, when an instruction is given some people concentrate hard, appearing to understand the task at hand that the actual instructions fly right over their heads. The only reason I know this, is not because I study human behavior, but it happened to me a few times too and in order to master the ‘gaze of understanding’ (when you actually don’t) takes more practice than training for the marathon.
